ACCOMPLISHMENTS
In our three terms in office, First Selectman Del Monaco and Selectman Hall have accomplished many things.

Improved New Fairfield Schools
> By strongly supporting the passage of robust education budgets.
> By successfully opening two new schools on time and within budget.
> By quickly responding to community concerns over safety by hiring School Resource Officers for all public education buildings.

Prioritized Our Community
> By reducing taxpayer burden for safety projects by securing state and federal grant funding.
> By working with the Candlewood Lake Authority and Ball Pond Advisory Committee to protect both water bodies for generations to come.

Enhanced Services
> By improving our emergency dispatch, communications, and fire department infrastructure.
> By allocating $4M in ARPA funds for community projects.
> By securing funding and beginninng design on the Margerie Reservoir trail.

Provided Leadership
> By acting on the Municipal Budget when the Republican Controlled Board of Finance failed to take action.
> By establishing the Economic Development Commission and providing grants to small businesses to help them through hard times.
Priority issues
Our key priorities guide us in our work for you and our town. They inform our decisions and actions, such as:
- Ensuring the town's finances are managed in a responsible, equitable, and rational way
- Responding promptly, fully, and transparently to resident needs
- Continuing to focus on the center of town and its small businesses, while maintaining its small-town character
- Protecting the health and safety of New Fairfield's residents and the integrity of the environment around them
